How to change display language in Vista

Suppose that you are unpacking your new laptop (with M$ Vista already installed) and you realize that the display language (Greek in my case) isn't the one you 're expecting for (English). If you have paid for Vista Ultimate edition (sincerely, why?) then there is no problem, since they allow the user to change the UI language to the desired one, through what is called MUI (Multilingual User Interface) Language Packs. But what if your new laptop or desktop comes with Vista Basic, Premium of Business edition? These versions don't support MUI (I'm wondering why).

Here comes a great software called Vistalizator to give a very good solution to your problem. According to their site, this tool allows you to change display language in Vista editions other than Ultimate, like Starter, Home Basic, Home Premium and Business. I've already installed it on my laptop and, despite some minor problems, it works pretty fine. All you have to do is to download the desired language pack, run Vistalizator, change the default Vista's UI language and restart your system.

The only problem that I'm facing (check also here) is that Windows update does not work with the new language pack and each time I have to check for new updates I have to turn back to the parent language. But I can live with that...
